Global Warming Threat to Songbirds on fence post perching A new study released by the National Wildlife Federation and the American Bird Conservancy warns that eleven percent of bird species could disappear from parts of their current ranges as a result of global warming. If these range shifts occur, communities could lose many of the economic benefits provided by songbirds: pollination, pest control and seed dispersal.
